Twinker ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Twinker Tech Services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Twinker mobile application ("App") and related services. By using Twinker, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide and improve our services:

Phone number — used for account creation and OTP-based login.
Name — used to personalise your experience.
Delivery address — used to show nearby vendors and deliver orders to you.
Location (GPS) — used to detect your area, show relevant vendors, and enable live delivery tracking. Location is only accessed while the app is in use.
Order history — used to show your past orders and process refunds or disputes.
Device token (FCM) — used to send push notifications about your order status.
Photos (optional) — only when you use the "Order Anything" feature to upload a photo of an item you want sourced.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account.
To process and deliver your orders.
To send order status notifications via push notifications or SMS.
To show you nearby vendors, deals, and relevant content based on your location.
To operate the Twinker Daily subscription delivery service.
To apply wallet credits, referral rewards, and promotional offers.
To improve app performance and fix issues.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as necessary to operate the service:

Vendors — receive your name, delivery address, and order details to fulfil your order.
Delivery partners — receive your delivery address and contact number to complete delivery.
Firebase (Google) — used for push notifications (FCM) and crash reporting.
Google Maps — used for address selection and live delivery tracking.
SMS providers — used to send OTP verification messages.

All third-party services used by Twinker have their own privacy policies governing their use of data.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption and JWT-based authentication to protect your information. Passwords are never stored — we use OTP-based login only.

5. Location Data

Twinker requests location permission to show you vendors near you and to enable live delivery tracking. Location is accessed only while the app is in use (foreground). We do not track your location in the background except for active delivery partners using the delivery app, where location is shared during an active delivery.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@twinker.app. Order records may be retained for up to 1 year for legal and dispute resolution purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

Twinker is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and data.
Opt out of promotional notifications at any time via app settings.
